I recently put together a video showcasing the current state of Escher's gameplay. It shows off some new music and new levels, as well as new mechanics and visuals I haven't covered in a devlog yet.
This will make people afraid of turning their heads while walking in stairs. :D
The flat colors would also be easy to make a CPU rendering fallback for with 1000 FPS using planar images, memset operations and tesselated depth sorting, when OpenGL cannot be found on Macintosh.
